Comparation of Different Display Technique:

1. Physical Seam: LCD, PDP, DLP all have physical seam, projection fusion is a little better, small pixel pitch LED display do not have physical seam, the visual performance is the best.

 

2. Uniformity: Small Pixel Pitch LED Display could maintain brightness and color uniformity through point to point correction technology. LCD, PDP can not avoid color difference and brightness decay problems after longtime operation. And we can not change this situation.

Considering the visual performance, it seems small pixel pitch led display is good choice for long-term investment.

 

3. Life span. Because of the LED characteristics, small Pixel pitch led display has advantage on life span.

Many manufacturers already join the small pixel pitch led display business line, but there some problems still need time to improve and fix. For example the dead point, international standard 0.1‰~0.3‰,for P2.0 model,there are 250Kpcs pixels per square meter, according to international standard, there could be 25-75pcs dead point. LCD display required no more than 3pcs dead points. Small pixel pitch display seems hard to reach this standard. Most importantly is the cost, assembling the same resolution display, LCD display has more competitive price.

Decreasing the cost is one important theme in small pixel pitch led display industry.
